16th India-German Technology Summit begins at New Delhi

• The 16th Technology Summit kicked off in New Delhi today with Germany as the partner country.
• The focus areas for this year's summit are Lean and Green-Opportunities for Collaboration in the Manufacturing Sector, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Manufacturing, IT, Solar Energy and Water Technologies.
• The major outcome of the previous summits have been large number of technology tie-ups between Indian industry and organizations of the partner country.
•  It is expected that , joint research and development projects, Joint Ventures and Collaborative Projects in Public Private Partnership mode will take place.
