- As per information received from Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs the amount remitted to India in the last financial year (2009-10) from the NRIs working abroad was 40810 USD million (Approx.)
- Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs has informed that no data is available for remittance from the Gulf Countries.
