Noted Journalist H. K. Dua will be conferred the prestigious Lokmanya Tilak national award for 2011 for excellence in journalism.
This was announced here today by Deepak Tilak, trustee of Kesari-Maratha Trust which gives away the award every year.
Mr. Dua is a veteran journalist whose career spans over four decades. He is known for his study of political and international affairs.
The award will be conferred on Dua here on January 4, 2011 which also marks the 130th anniversary of 'Kesari', started by Lokmanya Tilak to mobilise the masses against the British rule during pre-independence era.
